BioStem Wellness Dr. Dave's Best, then and now

Since we’ve gotten questions about our current supplement line, this email may help clear up some confusion.

A bit of history first:  Back in November 2015, Bio Stem Technologies purchased the assets and name “Dr. Dave’s Best” through a merger which added the company, now named BioStem Wellness Dr. Dave’s Best, as a wholly owned subsidiary of BioStem Technologies. As part of this family of companies, we have access to more financial resources, technology and talent, allowing us to upgrade our warehouse facility, increase our compliance and improve our systems, to better respond to your needs.

Our inventory and employees made the trip from the old Pennsylvania warehouse to the new Florida warehouse, packing up ourselves and our supplements in a 45’ trailer and going south for the Winter. That’s where the journey began.

Now we are established and moving forward with continuous process improvements.

BioStem Wellness Dr. Dave’s Best is audited by our pharmaceutical division staff, to ensure adherence to cGMP (current Good Manufacturing Practices) and adherence to the FDA 21 CFR 111 guidance for dietary supplements. Our suppliers also comply with these rigorous standards and submit the required paperwork with each Lot delivery.

Our Fish Oil products continue, as always, to meet the FDA purity standards for Pharmaceutical Grade Fish Oil.

While our supplement formulations have not changed, we are in the process of updating the labels to be fully compliant with current Good Manufacturing Practices, ensuring that all ingredients are accurately reflected on the labels, including all inactives. Our Ultra 85 supplement facts have been revised to reflect the 2 capsule serving size, as required to comply with FDA regulations.

We are still using the same high quality raw materials and requiring the same rigorous testing, Certificates of Manufacture and Certificates of Analysis.  Here are copies of CofAs for Ultra 85 Fish Oil and Pharmaceutical Grade Fish Oil. All testing has been completed by a third party cGLP certified laboratory.

Same as always, the product hasn’t changed.

On top of all that, we’ve enhanced our line with 2 new supplements, Dr. Dave’s Best Wild Red Fish Oil, in response to popular demand for a liquid fish oil, and Met 191, a doctor designed and formulated, natural blood pressure and sugar balancing supplement.
